Carol is a member of the Katharine Susannah Prichard (KSP) Writers’ Centre in Greenmount, Western Australia, and a long-time member of the Thursday Night writing group. In 2021, Carol was awarded a two-week Fellowship at KSP. She has been a participant in ‘Write-a-book-in-a-day’ 2007–2021 and a regular contributor to the Thursday Night Group Anthologies. 

Carol was a marriage and funeral celebrant for forty-three years. In that time, she worked closely with her clients, telling their stories to enhance and develop personally rewarding and deeply meaningful ceremonies. 

She is passionate about this story, Remembrance of Love and War, which reflects the life of her grandfather. Many years of research, including travelling to Britain and France, have culminated in this work.
